Nea Peramos is a coastal resort 18 km from Kavala. The distance from Sofia is 300 km and it takes about 4 hours to travel, which makes it an attractive vacation spot for many Bulgarians.

The permanent residents of the resort are just over 2,000 and here you can find everything you need for a relaxing holiday. The village is a typical Greek resort and competes with the most famous places.
Bulgarian and Greek are the predominant languages on the beaches of Nea Peramos, and Romanians are also found here and there. It is precisely because of the interest of the residents that the hotels and guesthouses have been booked since the beginning of spring.

The resort is full of taverns and bars along the beach, small hotels. As everywhere in Greece, accommodation is mainly in apartments and family villas.
Just 2 kilometers from Nea Peramos is the fabulous pristine beach of Amolofi, which means “dunes”. It has a “Blue Flag” and is one of the most beautiful, which you can reach after only 4 hours of driving from Sofia and Plovdiv.
To get to this picturesque beach you need a car as it is away from the hustle and bustle of the resort towns.
The beach strip is three kilometers long, being divided into first, second and third dunes by means of rocks. It is a paradise for lovers of diving and admiring the underwater world. Near the rocks you can see different formations, fish and even octopuses. Near the beach there is also a pine forest in which barbarons are located and is suitable for relaxation and an afternoon nap.
There are several beach bars that offer umbrellas and sunbeds. They are concentrated on secondary dunes. There are covered parking lots for guests of the establishments, as well as free outdoor parking for other beach visitors.
